Draymond Green finally returned to action Monday for the Golden State Warriors for the first time since January. The former Defensive Player of the Year winner has missed a total of 29 games for the Dubs with a lingering back injury and has now returned to action after a lengthy layoff.
The Warriors hosted the Washington Wizards on Monday night and the adoring home crowd was absolutely thrilled to see Green entering the game for the first time in the opening period. Unsurprisingly, the Dubs star received a warm welcome from Dub Nation (h/t NBA Television on Twitter):

Chase Center was rocking as they welcomed Dray into the fold. Green couldn’t have returned at a more opportune time for the Warriors, who are now on the rise again after their fall after the All-Star break. The Dubs entered Monday’s contest on a three-game winning streak after going 1-5 in their previous six games.
There aren’t too many players in the league who have such a big impact on their team just like Green. Now that he’s back, the Warriors should once again establish themselves as a real threat in the West. Don’t look now, but this team is about to take the league by storm. With a bit of luck.
