SALT LAKE CITY –The Los Angeles Lakers have released an injury report update regarding LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the team’s upcoming game against the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz are set to host the Lakers at Vivint Arena on Thursday, March 31.

Los Angeles listed James as “out” with a sprained left ankle, via a tweet from Southern California News Group’s Kyle Goon. James was injured March 27 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

This season, James is averaging 30.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. James has scored at least 36 points in the last four games he has played.

Davis is on his way back from a right midfoot sprain that has kept him out of the Los Angeles roster since Feb. 16. The Lakers center was listed as “doubtful” for the game against the Jazz.

This season, Daivs is averaging 23.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in 37 games played.

The Lakers are currently outside the NBA playoff picture with a 31-44 record. Los Angeles is one game away from the San Antonio Spurs.

This season, the Jazz have a 45-31 record.

Utah’s game against Los Angeles begins Thursday, March 31 at 8 p.m.
